I’m not all into Indie Rock and whatever. Personally, it’s for losers. But since seeing their first show since the lead singer returned to Minnesota from studying abroad, I’m happy to know that the most attractive band in show business, Mouthful of Bees, has cut it out with the whole indie rock funny business and decided to take it to the next level.![]()
Since the singers return, MoB have added a new, mysterious, and intriguing member (not in photo), who rocks the keyboard and plays guitar. In doing so, the Bees have
created for themselves a more interesting and varied aural landscape. They haven’t recorded any of their new music yet, so you’ll have to catch them live like a fish.
Whereas much popular music just pumps up the jams to 10 (or 11) and just stays there for the whole set, I found their concert to me along a journey of peaks and valleys, making “The Now” look amateurish. I highly recommend going to see them soon, because they rock like the Flintstones.
Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
I used to be really savvy and cool and into the indie scene.. I saw these guys last year in richfield or Northfield? yeah Northfield some basement show and I have to admit I was BORED.

I really enjoy the plethora of links on here. I was in an art class with Katelyn F (aka the chick) she was way too cool for me.
