It smelled like soap or deodorant: pleasant, not flowery, a strong citrus note through the center. I'd say it confused me that a man would a.)be wearing such a scent, b.) that it would be by Britney Spears and c.) that he was man enough (?) to admit it.

I'm still not sure I even believe him, just like I wasn't certain for a while that there wouldn't be more to the show onstage.

When I went to see it last year at the Kitchen, I mostly had read about Claude Wampler in TIME OUT magazine. The interview was intriguing and not at all about the piece. So I was up for anything and loved the experience. It was a very small audience, maybe 30 people. I felt a little sorry for her. Must go read about all the hoopla on the other posts! In any case, my favorite movie of all time, "This is Spinal Tap" is on right now, coincidently, as the final performance of Performance (career ender) concludes.

What did Britney Spears' perfume smell like? Is it unisex? Would someone's scent really be part of the show? Just curious.

Sally said it. All the hidden hype is set on stage.

I was entertained. I zoned out. Then I was really entertained. Ultimately it was over.

The conversations afterwards were very human. Not that after the other two shows they weren't human, but it was different this time.
