Daniel – a peach; Sarah – a book; Japhet – a big apple; Alexia – a banana on a stick; Larissa – cotton candy, enough for us all!; Deasha – veggies, so we can be healthy; Jazlyn – a large pizza, we always eat pizza; George – brownies are my favorite; Yue – the biggest cookie ever!; Hannah – a birthday cake so everyone can go visit on their birthday; Nick – a giant bowl of soup, the birds would swim in it; Mikayla – corn on the cob, we have it in the summer; India – a bowl of nuts for the squirrels; Tommy – our school; Daijah – a McDonald’s Happy Meal; Antoine – candy for all of the kids; Alicia – a big huge gum ball; Leo- an egg; Jeronimo – cheese, the flat kind; Jose – fruit, I like it; Kobe – us, we could play on it!; Kazia – cupcake, they are yummy!; Mrs. Lindeman – Starbuck’s coffee,I need that much to keep up with these kids!

A Cheerio since Cheerios is the most popular breakfast cereal, General Mills is a Mpls company, and because people probably use spoons to eat cereal more than any other food!

Our granddaughter, Gracie Alice Lahr (2 1/2), suggests a giant Cheerio go on top of the spoon.
I think that Minnesota’s own General Mills would be exicted to contribute.

I am not 12 or under, but I think you should leave the spoon empty to remind people that not every spoon has something in it. Maybe this will inspire the people who are fortunate to have full spoons to donate to their local food shelf to help fill others spoons.
