- A piece of modern art history: The Star Tribune has been running a blog journaling the design and building process of a new home in the Twin Cities. The house is nearly complete and now features some of the leftover aluminum panelling from the skin of the Walker’s theater tower expansion. In case anyone’s nit-picking, we’re more of a contemporary arts center than a modern art museum. More on the 2,878 aluminum panels here.
- “Leave me as you found me” Minneapolis based artist and apparent sneaker aficionado David Rathman’s work was recently spotted in the form of a campaign for Nike and Undefeated. Rathman’s work was exhibited at the Walker in 2002/2003. [via, thanks Witt]
- The only tank that’s not fun to blow up. Also easily destroyed by children.
- Its 3AM and a fake robot calls: If you’re among the lucky ones who hasn’t been robocalled, you have an opportunity to voluntarily expose yourself to some amusing calls the candidates are all wishing their opponents were making. Favorite part, by Fake John McCain: “You know what else is American? This whistle! Tweeeeeeeeeeeet!!”

Bill: Many of UNDFTD’s other billboards have been in LA, so I’m guessing that’s where this one is too.
