The biennial circuit goes rural in 2009: Yorkshire, England, will host the first ever Farmers' Biennale of Art and Agriculture as a way to spark “cultural investment in rural creativity.” The festival will focus on “commissions for artists working on farms and in disused farmers’ markets, field-art including crop circles and urban projects such as growing “corn fields in the cities.” [via]
