Despite the very interesting work done by the last two presenting groups at the design lecture series ... the public speaking abilities and presentation preparation of each group has been at the best: poor, which seems to be an issue, year in and year out with the design lecture series.

One wonders why, with so many bright, engaging, articulate designers out there in the world - Blauvelt, or whomever makes the call on the series presenters, continues to invite speakers that are more often than not: tedious, speak english marginally at best, poorly prepared, and generally very disappointing?

As huge fan of the series and the new Walker (as well as a member), I offer these comments as constructive criticism - I hope you will strive to do better next year ...
