		<description>I completely agree.  That book affected me like few others, and after reading it, I honestly felt like it wouldn't translate into a film very well.  I loved The Proposition too though, and I think that Hillcoat could potentially get the atmosphere right.  Like Viggo Mortenson said in the NYT, a lot is riding on the performance of the kid.</description>

		<description>I am so torn about &lt;i&gt;The Road&lt;/i&gt; being made into a movie. It is no different than any other book being adapted for film, but the book had such a profound effect on me...and it seemed I had barely put the book down before the rights had been snatched up. That being said, I am a big fan of &lt;i&gt;The Proposition&lt;/i&gt; and feel that Hillcoat may be able to pull it off. Either way, I'm anxious to see the completed film.</description>
