Stella Artois Le Sacrifice
EDITED: 12/28/06
Tickets have been flying out the door for this year’s run of the British Television Advertising Awards, so much so that we have added a few screenings. This weekend’s tickets are essentially gone (there are a few still available, and a chance that some seats will be released near showtime) and next week’s are selling quickly.
Here are the remaining screenings:
ADVANCE TICKETS FOR ALL SCREENINGS HAVE SOLD OUT
Thursday, December 28: 3pm, 7pm and 9pm - McGuire Theater; 6pm and 8pm - Cinema
Friday, December 29: 3pm, 7pm and 9pm - McGuire Theater; 6pm and 8pm Cinema
Saturday, December 30: 3pm, 7pm and 9pm - McGuire Theater; 6pm and 8pm - Cinema

Help! I’m trying to buy Brit Award tix for Thursday (ANY time!), December 28th. This page of the website says tix are still available, but the purchasing page says it’s sold out. Why can’t we buy advanced tickets? What’s up? I’ve seen it EVERY year, but this year got away from me and we can’t go Friday or Saturday. Please call me 612.239.5784.
Thanks!

Like many out there - I also have gone to this in years past. If there is anyone that would have two tickets available for Thursday night the 28th or Saturday 30th, please let me know! -Mike 612.709.1976

Wow. This is unprecedented. Thanks for the record success of the British Television Advertising Awards. Advance tickets are sold out for all of the screenings, but there are usually a handful available at the door. I would recommend arriving early and trying to go to the earliest screening you can. If you can’t get into that particular screening, you can try for the next. The galleries will be open until 9pm on Thursday and Friday.
I would also love to hear if any of our commentors were able to get or get rid of tickets through the blog. John, Kathleen, or Mike, if any of you see this, please do let me know. Thanks again!

Help, my boyfriend is coming into town from Portland and I’m trying to convince him the twin cities are a great place to live. What better way than comic British commercials? If anyone is willing to sell please contact me!

I just received an email stating that extra screenings were added, but the ticket site says that all shows are sold out! Can anyone help me figure out if this email is already outdated or if the screenings mentioned have already sold out?
Thanks.

Andrea, The screenings were indeed added, but have unfortunately sold out. The email’s content was compiled and edited before the tickets were sold out last week. You still may have some luck at the door though. Sorry for any confusion. Good luck and happy new year!

[…] Ah, the Brits. The British Television Advertising Awards. This long tradition of Walker screenings of the Brits brings a special breed of mayhem to the holidays. And if the comments on Joe’s post are any indication, the Brits are one of those holiday treats worth fighting for. And scrambling for. And bargaining for. And begging for. […]
