		<description>I, too, agree with the thoughts related about the occasional consumers of art. As I walked through the exhibition I found myself observing the viewers as much as the art. Do they really understand any of it or is it because of the People Magazine and movie fame? But, as I used to tell the folks at my church, "open up the doors to the community for their particular use, and they may come back for the 'real thing' another time." 

I teach art and architecture history to evening students preparing to work in the field of interior design. Naturally, most of them are mid-career changers, so they've around for a while. But hardly a one has ever visited the Walker or any other art museum -- although they can quote the names of Frieda, Monet, FL Wright and Warhol.</description>

		<description>Very insightful, as a poet/writer I agree with the observation of consumer driven consumption of Frida, as well as other artists.  It does our "patron consumers" benefit to have a mirror held up to them to reflect and examine their motives of consumption.</description>
