Nice blog. But don't you think about changing the background color? To my mind, pink is unappropriate.

Good point! Two recent non-architecture Drawn Here lectures:

Sharon Werner and Brian Collins and
Piotr Szyhalski and Steve Dietz

I guess we can call Drawn Here the LOCAL DESIGN CONVERSATION SERIES while Insights is the DESIGN LECTURE SERIES.

And while I'm at it, here's the blurb from the postcard: This fall at Target Free Thursday Nights, the Walker presents a continuing series of conversations with award-winning architects and designers. Drawn Here: Contemporary Design in Conversation explores the depth and breadth of the state's acclaimed and vibrant design community and its international architectural projects.

Unless I missed a memo, I believe the lecture series Drawn Here: Contemporary Design in Conversation actually covers the full gamut of design in and around Minnesota, not just the hallowed halls of architecture. But then again, Andrew B. doesn't tell me EVERYTHING. Nice blog though. It's about time you design geeks had you're own soapbox. Cheers to you!
